Received it from Singapore within 4days. Heard so many reviews on it and I don’t think I regretted my purchase. Very comfortable boots and love how grippy the sole is. I’m a vans 8.5uk and it fits exactly to size. The spacious toe cap allows my toes to have some wiggling and don’t feel squashed when I squat. Wish there were more design as the US web so people can have more choices

This is my first pair of proper boots and I'm so pleased I got them. I love hiking and I'm a big chap, so I need boots with decent support and durability. I've always bought cheaper hiking boots until now. While they do the job, they're not particularly comfortable and don't last long, and they're not practical to repair. I go through a pair every year and it's so wasteful. These are a big step up from what I've had in the past. Really well put together boots which I look forward to wearing for many, many years. They are properly rugged and can easily be resoled to keep them in service for years to come. The wide toe is so comfortable as well. It's the first pair of boots I've ever worn that have adequate space for my wide toes. No rubbing whatsoever. There was certainly a break-in period for me, but only in the heel. They were very comfortable for me right out of the box everywhere else, but the firm sole and stiff leather caused me some pain in the heel for a while. Now that they are properly broken in, they are without a doubt the most comfortable thing I've ever put on my feet. I did briefly consider if a softer sole might be better, but I'm glad I stuck with the stock one. It is comfortable after the boot has broken in, and it's the grippiest sole I've ever had. I did a bit of impromptu rock climbing recently with them, and the sole bites very very well. Great investment that will save me a lot of money and pain into the long run, and well worth getting them shipped to the UK (which was actually really painless and took less than 2 weeks).

I ordered a black color and received the item today. But unlike the picture, the shoelaces arrived in black. I ordered it from Korea, so it's a hassle to exchange it, but I'm disappointed

Ordered the African Ranger Barefoot Boots after my son showed me his. Man, these are the most comfortable boots for walking and exploring in the bush, the city, wherever. I have very wide feet and a bunion problem, and these are the first boots that make walking entirely painless for me. They have a wide toe area which is fantastic. The sole is tough and not too sensitive - I have worn moccasin type shoes before that hurt if you step on a sharp rock. Not these: You can feel the ground, but no pain. The totally flat sole is great for natural walking. I love these so much I just ordered another identical pair to stash away for the future. They seem very well made, resoleable and tough... but in 15 years when I need another pair I'll have them ready to go. Probably the last walking boots I'll buy (although I just ordered some AR8's for my motorcycle trips).

African Ranger Shoes Initially, my experience with the African Ranger Shoes left much to be desired. As a farmer constantly on my feet, comfort is paramount, and the shoes fell short, earning a measly 2 out of 5 stars. The persistent heel slip led to painful sores, making my workdays challenging. However, perseverance unveiled a surprising transformation. What started as discomfort gradually evolved into a remarkable level of comfort, elevating my rating to a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars over weeks and months of wear. If these shoes were likened to animals, they'd be akin to a honey badger or a Jack Russell—tenacious, resilient, and adept in the field. Yet, like any product, the African Ranger Shoes aren't without flaws. A more aggressive lug sole would significantly enhance traction, especially on wet terrain. Additionally, an improved insole would elevate overall comfort. Thankfully, these setbacks are easily remedied by purchasing alternative insoles. Ultimately, I bestow upon the African Ranger Shoes a commendable 4 out of 5 stars. Despite their shortcomings, the value they offer surpasses expectations. For the price, they deliver more than one could anticipate, making them a worthy investment for any hardworking individual.

Ordered a pair of black African Ranger boots on Thursday, reactivated them on Monday ….. in Norway. Well done. Unpacked the boots, tried them on for size. Soft leather, size ok, will work nicely with my uniform at work. Re-packed them, will receive them “officially” on my birthday in 2,5 weeks. Looking forward to put them on and start using them. Now I have to get a pair for myself, maybe I’ll try the bearfoot model next….. Just ordered three pairs of JG directly from South Africa to Germany. After the pair of African Rangers, that I ordered from the german store, fitted so well I got brave and ordere three more pairs, knowing I couldn't return them if they wouldn't fit. I feel very lucky now, cause I have four great pairs of boots now: The Afrcian Ranger, the Outback, Razorback and this gorgeos Baobab, which fits so nicely and looks great. Classicly built, modern but very plain cut. I love it.

1 week review: As a PH I used vellies from a different brand as hunting shoes but they recently fell apart so I needed new light but durable shoes. I already have extremely good experience with the Razorback and the town and country, so I wanted to get jim greens but could not decide on a model since I never liked the look of the African ranger. I actually considered asking jim green for a custom single lasted Razorback with wedge sole. That was until I saw a pair of African rangers in fudge in person in a local shop. Tried them on and it is exactly the right shoe for me. Light, breathable and just the right height. They look much better in person than on the fotos. So far I used them daily to walk the dogs on the farm sand road(5km), today I did some casual rocky walk on the mountain. In Sand they perform perfect, on rocks they perform good(naturally not as good as the Razorback) I really look forward for the coming months when I will do some longer walks while hunting. Jim Green, this n wenner skoen!

Been wearing almost daily at work on the Railway in England for 6 months. Superb comfort. The quality of construction shines. Highly recommend them for work or casual wear.

Have had these a couple of months now and they have turned out to be a jack of all trades. I use these almost everyday. For commuting, hiking and lighter work. Was a bit worried that I had ordered a size to large, but entering into winter here in Norway they have been excellent. They traction on snow and ice is the best I have had without metal studs, and the spacious toe box is good for keeping warm. Now I would not recommend wading trough snow and marshes, as they won't keep out the water. But for a everyday boot ,they are both comfy while also feeling the ground. They also strike a balance of being rugged enough for most you will throw at it, and cheep enough to replace if you do find something they can't handle.

This my second pair of barefoot rangers, as I bought the fudge coloured ones about three months ago. Needless to say I love 'm or I wouldn't be buying another pair. It does seem that this pair will be a bit harder to break in. Maybe it's to do with colouring stiffening the leather a bit? In any case, I am confident that once they have conformed to my feet, they'll be every bit as comfy as my fudgies. Build quality is superb, materials look absolutely beautiful. Get in on these, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing boots and much better than I could have hoped. Wore for 1 month straight and spent the last week hiking +/- 10kms a day through the Drakensberg mountains in South Africa. Been through rivers, up mountains, and in really bad conditions and these boots have held up extremely well. Probably the best all-round barefoot style shoes you can get, and best of all, they're repairable. Been wearing a pair of Vivobarefoots daily for the past year so already big on the barefoot train. Wanted these as great quality, leather, repairable, barefoot style shoes and they are better than anything I could have hoped. Sizing is true to size and they broke in pretty well. Not too hard on the feet. 5 Stars! Please buy!

I'm just received my Shoellies in the post and I'm very pleased with them indeed - they are made with excellent materials, the leather is fantastic. The ASHM last is great too, I went up to a 12.5UK from my usual 12UK in dress shoes and they fit perfectly. They feel robust and will last for years. I cant wait to see how the shoe adapts to my feet over time. I think the heel counter could do with a little more structure to prevent heel slippage - I appreciate the leather softens and moulds to the shape of your foot, but I cant put custom insoles in without my heel slipping around when I walk. Not quite so much an issue with the Jim Green insoles. That's my only non-positive comment. All in all great value for money for excellent shoes. Even with the shipping costs to the UK.

I owned 7 pairs of Jim Green boots over the last 20 years. The Stockman Brown was my first Jim Green boot. This is a fantastic boot!!! I had it resoled twice and still have it but the fibre midsole are now cracked at the ball of my foot. The elastic did stretch after a few years (JG are definitely using better elastic on my resent purchases) the heel stitching did come loose after 5 years. I have really tried and tested this boot and walked many kilometres with it and can confirm it is a heck of a good boot.

Haven't bought leather boots in a long while but was impressed by the Rose Anvil description. These smell great on being opened and look great. They appear to be very well made. When sizing these I had no access to a Brannock device so measured my feet and used the size chart. Because this was an international order, and returning them would be financially unfeasible I went up a size to allow some wiggle room. This was a mistake as they are far too large. My advice with these boots would be to size conservatively when ordering. Otherwise they are great boots.

I bought those boots for hunting in mountain mostly, but also to walk and work in my forrest. I were those for almost two months and have walked between 160 to 200 km yet. And, what a great boot ! I was affraid the boots were too heavy but they aren't, my previous hunting boots were Haix nepal pro, which were heavier. I was affraid also because they are not waterproof, and indeed they're not... After one hunt under hard rain, in mountain with a lot of wind, and frozen feet, I bought some bee wax, and cure my boots with it. Since then, I've no waterproof issues... After each use of my boots, I clean them with a little bit of water and sometimes also with saddle soap, then I coat them with wink oil and then bee waxed them, and so far, so good... I'm so happy with those boots, that I consider to buy another Jim Green's pair of boots perhaps the baobab... When it will be available in France...

The most comfortable shoes right out of the box. This ASHM last has the perfect toebox for me. Although if I may make a suggestion, carving out a slight concavity of the sole at the medial aspect of the midfoot would make the overall shape just a little sleeker without sacrificing any comfort or fit. The shoes feel like real quality and look forward to wearing them in the office and casually for years to come. Please offer other shoes like the African Ranger or Vellies in the ASHM last as standard fare! I am sure they would be popular options. High boots like the Baobab are too hot for my equatorial climate.

Quickly after receiving these boots they have become my favorites. I'm not exactly an experienced barefoot walker, but am accustomed to less drop on my shoes. I was able to immediately traverse longer distances in these zero drops without any discomfort. I've been wearing 'm every other day since receiving them some six weeks ago and I'm probably gonna buy a second pair so I can alternate them and wear these wonderful jobbies on a more daily basis. In the city, out in the field and even on some pretty rough mountainous terrain here in New Zealand, they seem to take it all. The "stack" is enough to be able and without too much exaggerated care, pick your route through most terrains and just get on with it, while still receiving good feedback on what you're actually stepping on. Have not used them under a heavy hunting pack yet, but for a day trip and some deer stalking these boots deliver what I'm after.

These are the most comfortable vellies I've ever worn and they look good too! I wear a fudge shoellie when I'm out in the field and a brown shoellie when I go out to dinner. Sometimes I forget that I'm even wearing shoes...

I was compelled to buy a pair of these boots because my feet eat through other barefoot shoes and I needed something more robust for beekeeping, dog walking etc. Ordered internationally (isle of man) and their courier was so so quick the boots arrived in a matter days! The sizing is spot on and I can wear either a regular cotton sock or medium wool sock with no issues. Small break in period needed but otherwise not too hard on the feet in the first couple of outings Overall 5 stars, the boulder boot killer. Highly recommend.

One week later; I have tucked three times, hiked once, walked each morning and evening with my kids, mowed the grass, gardened, and gone to church. My original Rangers (also 5+ stars) will still see use however from the beginning I had some blistering issues. Not with the Barefoot. These are really handsome, well made, barefoot boots for men and their duties. Thank you.

I recently received these boots and immediately put them to the test. They are everything i've been looking for in a "Barefoot" boot. The toebox is plenty wide, as I have wider feet. The construction is high quality and compared to another pair of leather barefoot boots I own, they actually feel like they will endure most of what I throw at them. I live in Alberta Canada, and while I know they may not be the best for snow/ice I do intend on trying them out to see how they perform. Obviously they were built with a more arid climate in mind. The boots are the same height as a pair of high top converse shoes, and are comfortable enough to use as an everyday type of footwear. I highly recommend these boots to anyone who is interested in going Barefoot style, while having a reliable pair of well made quality boots. I plan on purchasing another pair in the near future.

These are great pair of boots. I use them hunting in western Queensland Savannah country. They provide good feel under foot, quite quiet and comfortable. I even ran 2km in them without issues. My only concern is the lack of grip on hard wet surfaces such as concrete & muddy creek banks. I found them quite slippery. But good on dry surfaces.

These are great no nonsense boots. My son Sean and I each wore them on the Overland Track in Tasmania, Australia. Rocks, mud, water, rain and snow. Excellent value and very good quality.

I can't believe there aren't more reviews on here! These boots are FANTASTIC! I own 2 pairs and I've only bought the second one to let the first one "breathe" for a bit in between use. The wide toe box is amazing and the comfort is top-notch. The leather breathes very well, I've used these all over Europe, Asia and Brazil in different climates and never had any issue. My all-time favourite, hands-down.

I have bought the limited edition Buffalo Leather African Ranger Boots. I can kick myself for not buying Jim Green Boots sooner. The African Ranger Boots are really comfortable now that they are broken in took approximately 6 weeks (not wearing them everyday). They are good for any terrain and looks good with chino's, jean's and even shorts!! Keep up the good work!! Received my 2nd pair today.

I bought my razorback's on recommendation from an avid hiking friend to go and hike the Fish River Canyon of June 2023. With the decent I immediately realised that I have made the best decision in getting razorbacks. I even made the comment to my friend that I would hike the Canyon naked if I had to as long as I have my razorbacks. I would say that a pair of razorbacks should be standard equipment for any hike. It was a pleasure because my feet were in the best shoe for the job. If you buy your razorbacks you will never be sorry.

These are some good looking boots , especially if you dress them up . They are even better looking with some miles on them . I own the Boabob, Razorback and stockman boots . I love all my Jim Green boots and will continue to support the company because of their craftsmanship, style ,quality of materials in a boot that you can't compare to anything else in the same price range . This is a brand that goes the extra mile in providing some of the best footwear that wil last for years and years ,with proper care . The baobab where comfortable and well made from the start . The leather lasting board added the extra touch in quality and comfort . The pva will break in and your boots will become even more comfortable with the pva and leather forming to the shape of your foot . I added an extra leather inner because of my narrow feet . I got my long awaited pair of baobab boots a couple of weeks ago and I am wearing them since then. I am a Jim Green fan and already have its main shoe line. They are all an amazing blend of quality and comfort with uncompromising durability. Baobab however surpasses all. It is ruggedly stylish and surprisingly comfortable both with its upper and the sole. The addition of EVA sandwiched between the lasting board and the rubber outsole is a very successful technique that adds both heft and cushioning. To my experience this is the best shoe amongst all the Tims and cats and woodlands that I enjoy. A must have shoe for all outdoor lovers.

I ordered these boots and have had them a few weeks now. I ordered a size 12 as I thought these were walking boots, so best to get a size up. I was shocked to put this shoe on and feel how much space there was. I have very wide feet and I was disappointed by another brand buying a european size 47 before (equivalent to UK 12 in most brands) and it was too tight due to the toe box reinforcement. Here this shoe has a wide fit and I needed to get a good insole. I hope to order another pair of these, but in size UK 11 as I think it will be the perfect fit without an insole, and in future despite buying through the internet, I would say the size guide for this is generous. I have a 28.5cm left foot and it definitely feels like I could go down a size easily. So if I were you I would say try and order to the closest to your length in the size guide as possible. I ordered to Europe, as currently it doesn´t look like there are suppliers for Baobab there. This is a seriously stylish boot. It is tough and if you are a hiker, I would recommend you also invest in some zinc oxide tape to cover any of the "hot spots" the boot might make in the initial wears. This boot will last a long time so it is worth investing in the breaking in period. The material is different to what I have experienced before as it is both soft and really strong at the same time. It is hard to explain until you feel it. Things I think worth noting - The sole is amazing and the stitching is heavy duty, giving it the aesthetic cool of brands which today only pay lip-service to stitching, whilst actually having the function. This is a boot with the rare ability to crossover - I think it would be very good in a hiking/tabbing/military setting, yet it looks amazing. For the price I paid (with duties) I still think it was worth it. As said, will probably buy again, but a size down.

It's the 07/02/2023 and I've just ordered my second pair of Chelsea stockman boots. 1st pair lasted close to 15 years of hard living! Hoping the second pair will live up to the first pair! Waiting patiently for the courier!

Durable and Comfortable. Great Pair

Recently bought the fudge ..I love these boots, taken them out on the south downs of England where i live. They have good grip on wet chalk, nice support, they seem extremely durable with thick supple leather. I can't wait to get some patina on these. IMO they are a fabulous looking boot and like to wear them around town also. very happy!

Got my Razorbacks Castrol/Fudge 6 months ago, loved them from the get-go, no walk in time, no blisters or burning foot soles at all! BUT I believe the left shoe is a dud - thin, soft leather has already cracked and torn, also the lace hooks do not line up. I take care to clean them with a damp cloth after every use, dry them, and use only the best leather saddle creams and treatments to condition. However, I still love these boots for unparalelled comfort.

Great boots, been using them just on a year now very comfortable and tough. They have done everything from reserve work to farming with them. Thank you for supporting Africa's Rangers and GRAA.

Very very happy with my new pair of African Ranger boots. I use them on the job as a project manager between construction sites, lots of walking and on my feet all day. The second day of having the boots I wore them for 13 hours straight without discomfort. Amazing given how tough the leather feels. According to me they look amazing as well. I doubt that I will ever buy another pair of shoes again! As they say in Afrikaans these are my new DKWs (Dans, kerk en werk). Thank you very much for a great product!

So good I bought two pairs! One light and one dark brown. I love the Fudge Crazy Horse leather. Doesn't need polish and brushes clean with a suede cleaner and wire brush. Probably the most comfortable boots I've worn! Good for the bush and equally good with a pair of jeans. And best of all it's for a good cause to put more boots on Africa's rangers through the Game Rangers Association of Africa. Well done Jim Green on an awesome new product.

Congratulations for creating a very tough hiking, working boot. My Razorbacks have been in use for about a year and they are doing fine. No pampering. We live on a small mountain farm in the Western Cape and do all labour ourselves. During the past 34 years I've only been wearing boots. I am truly impressed with the durability of the soles of the Razobacks. Maybe the innersole can be leather, but truly a boot that I shall recommend. Well done Jim Green.

I use my Razorbacks on a farm in the Little Karoo, where the terrain is mostly rocky with little to no trails, other than game and sheep trails. I had to replace my "brand name" non leather hiking boots as they could not handle the tough terrain. After a few months of use, the Jim Green's have shown their worth as a tough work boot. Later this year, the real test will come when I start scouting routes for 4x4 and hiking trails.

Absolutely magnificent boots! I have had my Razorbacks for a long time now and have been on many multi day hikes carrying 20+ kg bags, never once have I had a blister or any hot spots. The first day I used them I went on a 15km hunt and had no problem with any blisters, and my feet had no trouble getting used to the shape of the boots in that first few days. My size 12 fit perfectly and are not that heavy considering it’s well made leather design. I have recommended these wonderful boots to all my friends and family, and have definitely boasted about how comfortable they actually are! Another bonus is how water proof they are, obviously if you don’t submerge them. Overall the best boots I have ever owned, and are the only boots I want to own! Super glad I own them!

These are realy comfortable boots and they are tough as nails. It took me about 3weeks to break them in, now it's my everyday boots that I wear.

I brought my Razorback & Bantam back in february with Steel cap toe for work purpose love those boots with superfeet insoles are amazing for 12h shifts, and would love to suggest an small improvment for people use then to work in factories , some kind of toe cap protector rubber, it would extend the life of boots , will be back for more in the future!

Wow. For the first time in many years I have shoed that actually fit me due to the half sizes. Had a few blisters breaking them in but now it is the only shoes I wear. Had them for about 4 months now and constantly wearing them for the last 3 months. With an average walking disfance of 5 km per day plus a hunting trip where we hiked about 12km per day for 4 days over very rough terrain there is no real sign of wear on the boots. They still look good enough for me to wear them to church. I am very impressed and ordering a second pair so I can alternate them to give them a chance to rest and dry properly. Not good for shoes to be worn every day.

These are really awesome boots. You need to break them in but will be comfortable as slippers afterwards. Amazingly durable. My next pair will be the same. Also great to have them in 1/2 sizes!

What an awesome pair of boots this is! I received mine a couple of months ago and I smile everytime I wear mine. Well built for any adventure or outing. I mainly use mine for hiking and casual wear with jeans. The boots fit the pupose of good grip, protection of feet and an acceptable level of comfort. The shoe has a wider fit which is comfortable enough for your toes to fit in without giving it a bulky look. As this is a full leather grain boot, it took me quite a while to get worn in. In the beginning I had blisters at the back of my ancle, but this is expected with a new leather boot. The size fits perfectly though. Constant treatment of dubbin and working the leather helped me to brake them in easier. It is important to wear the correct type of socks though. Even though the sole feels hard (solid rubber sole), this can easily be adjusted with the help of an aftermarket insole. I am happy to give 5 stars for these boots. The company is client driven and very helpfull throughout the process of puchacing the boots. I shall definitely make use of their service again.

I bought the Razorback boots and they are just so solid and comfortable. I have a chronic back problem since 1993 and I have a difficulty when it comes to the type of shoe I have to wear and comfort, but these shoes just made it and I felt no tension on my back. These boots are a must have in any shoe collection. They are so well priced and great for hiking or any other outdoor adventure.

tl;dr These boots are 100% worth it. They'll get the job done and you just can't beat quality at this price. -Background- I had been wanting some general work / hiking boots for a while. More specifically, I wanted a pair of boots that would last me years and when the time came I could get them resoled, but I didn't want it to cost me an arm and a leg. While doing some research I started seeing Jim Green pop-up on a few Instagram pages I follow. Everything written about them was good, and the price point was hard to ignore so I purchased a pair. -Sizing/Fit- Bought these in a size US 12D, which is what I wear in basically everything. They fit perfectly and are pretty comfortable. From what I understand, the company is looking to potentially upgrade their insole to leather, but what's used now works just fine and if needed down the road I can just use an insert. The toe box is a bit roomy, but I like that - IMO nothing worse than cramped toes. -Overall impression- I'm super pleased with these. They fit great, meet my need and they really feel like they'll last. It's nice to be able to buy some quality footwear at this price point and know that it'll get the job done AND you wont have to buy another pair a year later. -Random notes- Jim Green will replace the footbed and laces if doing a resole through them. I'm not sure what the cost is for doing a resole, especially shipping form the U.S., but I'm sure you could reach out to them and they'd let you know. On a related note, their customer service is amazing. I had asked several questions about the construction (stitch down if anyone was wondering) and materials used, and I received several timely and informative responses.

The best boots ive ever bought. Wear them every single day. Most comfortable. If you are a heavy oak like me invest in thicker inner soles. Otherwise the best shoes by far. Soon buying my 2nd pair.

My Razorbacks are now 18 years old (young!). I had them resoled in 2014 and they seem good for another 10 years.They are my "go to" boots for any hiking and are especially resistant to the 'sekelbos' thorns which infested much of Limpopo.

The build quality and fit and finish of these boots well exceeded my expectations. They seem to be hitting well above the 130 dollar price. They seem more like a 300 dollar boot. Can’t wait to see how these are after they’re broken in.

I liked this product. I collect many boots and saw my favorite YouTube Rose Anvil give a quick review of one of their other boots and I wanted to give them a try. They are very high quality leather, full grain I believe, and are good for applications in uneven terrain. My feet feel well planted to the ground and I feel comfortable wearing them. Amazing product

These are great well made boots. Due to funny feet I have, had to return 9 for 9.5. Since receiving 9.5 have been wearing every other day doing chores on property and running errands in town for about 30 days. Boots now getting broke in and have placed in work boot rotation so they get worn every third or fourth day depending on activity planned. Thus allowing them to dry out. I have weak ankle so these boots being solid and stable with excellent support are a joy in the field. Jim Green Razorback compare favorably with other boots I own or have owned including Limmer, Irish Setter, Chippewa, Sears Die Hard to name a few. Just gave first treatment of leather care to boots. Look as good as new. Excellent boot.

Nice deep teeth in the sole, great pliable leather uppers and a great classic bush look. Removable foot bed and very comfortable. Wore them around the house for a couple days then took them out into the mud and rocks of Pennsylvania. They did extremely well and had a great bite into the dirt and mud. You can’t beat the classic design and great attention to detail in these boots.

If I could give this pair of boots 10 stars for comfort and affordability I would in an instant! You cannot beat the price of these handmade boots and how the company supports many local workers in their area. Kudos for that. Straight out of the box these boots are some of the most comfortable things that I have ever put on my feet. I decided to wear them to work the day after receiving them and they surely didn't disappoint. I was on my feet for 14hrs that first day and had zero fatigue. Now that I've had them for a month I can tell you that these are now my Go To boots for everything! They are great for work and they look great with some jeans going out on the town for dinner! I can't wait to purchase another pair so that I can rotate between the two pairs to make them last even longer. If you are on the fence at all about purchasing these boots, just Jump!! You won't regret it.

I bought this boot following an online review, I had to wait a bit for my size (11) to be available but the wait was worth it. The boot fits as well as my other size 11 boots and having an all leather upper is a welcome feature since it allows the feet to breathe well and the perspiration to evaporate quicker. The break-in took about 15 miles and then the boots are comfortable, however the break-in was brutal. I developed a large blister on the back of the right heel as well as a small blister on the top of the right toe. I should mention that I believe if I had taken a more sedate approach doing short walks there would not have been blisters. Instead upon receipt of the boots I put them on and went out on a three mile (5 kilometers) urban walk about. I would recommend three changes although I realize the price is very likely to go up. These changes are: (1) Use leather for the footbed, (2) Delete the insole or include a higher quality one (my insole was flat at the 40 mile mark), and (3) Install an additional lace eyelet by the toes. Overall I am very satisfied with the boots and I have recommended it to my coworkers and friends.

Great quality boot. It's just very wide in front. Battle to prevent my toes from sliding around in the boot.
