Our AR8 Boot is doing the job for Africa’s Elephants!

When dealing with one of the world’s largest mammals not just any boot can do the job, a robust boot with high ankle support and all-day comfort is what was they needed for the safety and caring of these majestic animals.

HERD (Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development) is South Africa’s first dedicated elephant orphanage and a recent customer of Jim Green Footwear.
Their carers play a critical role in the wellbeing of their rescued elephant herd, spending most of their days with these magnificent creatures as they roam in the South African bushveld. However, the rough terrain can pose a risk of injury, making it essential for their carers to wear appropriate footwear.

It is always a pleasure hearing back from our customers so when we received the below from the herd team it put a smile on our faces knowing their rangers’ feet were in great boots.
